Heathcote Shiraz 2013
Heathcote Shiraz is sourced from two fastidiously maintained vineyards located on the renowned Mt Camel Ridge. Rich in ancient Jasper, Greenstone and Ironstone, the unique Cambrian soils have been formed over 600 million years and provide the ideal profile for opulent and full-bodied Shiraz.
Tasting notes: the wine exemplifies the Heathcote character with its sumptuous dark plum, cherry and dusty chocolate flavours ahead of the distinctive tight tannin structure.
Mitchelton Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Mitchelton Cabernet Sauvignon is meticulously sourced from the most expressive parcels of fruit from some of the oldest blocks on the Estate. The wine typically reveals a generous core of ripe blackcurrant fruit with bay leaf and menthol notes conferring complexity.
Tasting notes: Showcasing superb depth and structure, this wine displays the elegance and power of the noble Cabernet Sauvignon grape with long and persistent tannin on the finish.
Michelton, The Bend, Merlot 2012
Water doesn’t flow naturally in a straight line. It meanders and sways following the topography of the land. Mitchelton resides on one such curve. Whether on our ground or your own, there’s always a time and a place for The Bend.
Tasting Notes: Ripe plums, dark berry with bay leaf characters, heightened by subtle suggestions of cedary oak and a fusion of juicy blackcurrant.
Rochford Pinot Noir 2012
An iconic Winery of the Yarra Valley region Rochford Winery is a producer of some fantastic wines, this Pinot Noir being one of them, picked in March and stored for 8 months in French Oak.
Tasting Notes: Cherry red with a purple hew. Full, ripe and rich, a trait of the 2013 harvest. Earthy aromatics complement the red and black fruits.

Daintree Estates chocolate is made in Australia, by Australians from cocoa grown in tropical Far North Queensland by Australian farmers. Daintree Estates chocolate is the first commercially produced chocolate in the world to be made from cocoa grown in Australia. Can you resist it?
Daintree Estates chocolate does not qualify for Fairtrade accreditation because our cocoa is grown in Australia, and all manufacturing is done in Australia. Fairtrade accreditation is only available to third world countries, which of course Australia is not. Our growers, staff and contractors are all paid fairly in line with Australian labour laws which protect exploitation, underage labour or slavery. You can eat Daintree Estates chocolate 100% guilt free, knowing that everybody involved is treated and paid fairly. Daintree Estates returns around 7% of all revenue directly to the farmers who grew the cocoa in this product.
